Adam and I went to New York this Christmas to spend time with my Abuela, Titi Carmen and other family. Adam and I ended up going to so many places and had a great time. Here are some of the many photos we took!
The in-laws invited us to visit Callanwolde during their Christmas event. Each of the rooms in the mansion was decorated by a designer in Atlanta. The house was very pretty. I had never heard of this place before and it was a nice experience. We even met the cutest barista who tried her best to do latte art even though the machine they had wasn’t equipped for it and even told us about some places in town who do it! I’m excited to try those coffee shops out.
This Christmas, like every other Christmas, I wanted to go all out with the decorations. It doesn’t matter that we will most likely be moving soon or won’t even be home at Christmas. This is my favorite Holiday of the year and I absolutely love decorating our place. Without Christmas decorations winter would be unbearable. It’s bad enough the sun sets sooner and we have to go back to standard time (can we please have day light saving year round) but the warmth decorations give makes this horrible season tolerable
We also ended up having an amazingly fun Christmas party and I made those Santa hat brownies!
My budgies being super cute!
In July we were able to attend Nicki’s Atlanta concert. We had so much fun and she was pretty entertaining as well. I’ll be honest the opening groups I wish we had skipped but overall it was a fun night. One of the best parts about living in Atlanta is being able to easily attend concerts because for some reason they are always on a weekday in Atlanta.
Fluffy and Gang decided to add a last minute show in Atlanta! I lucked out and got us tickets right up front. They asked for no photos during the show and to be honest we were laughing so much that I didn’t even think about taking any photos. All the opening acts were absolutely hilarious and Fluffy was great! We even got photos with Fluffy and I won another $20 in the Business Card drawing as well!!!

We haven’t updated in awhile and tons have done on. Attending shows, getting Cinderella and conventions. I’ll be going and adding a backlog of posts from the 4th of July. Until then enjoy this photoshoot of Cinderella with the BluRay and Plushie we got recently.
Here are some random photos I took this month that either didn’t make it into it’s own post or just random snaps
Earlier in June Redbull held one of it’s famous soapbox races in Atlanta. The contestants were pretty impressive and other than one bratty girl everyone there was pretty awesome. Unfortunately they took quite a long time in between each contestant and decided to start at noon so we ended up leaving early and didn’t get to see everyone because we were so hungry and it got too hot. Had they started at 11 it would have been easier to stay through the whole thing. It also would have bee nice if they had bleachers set up so people could sit and see everything.
Living in Atlanta it is so much easier to see groups live in concert. When we found out about LMFAO coming to Atlanta a few friends and I got together to buy tickets. Unfortunately Mike and Erica ended up sitting at the wrong spot when we took photos but we found them later. My favorite part had to be the show closer and SkyBlu came out with an Elephant speedo. It was so much fun!

This weekend was the Georgia Special Olympics. My little brother got 1st place in the 200 meters and 5th in 100 meters. Everyone seemed to have a great time too!
Thanks to q100 we got free tickets to see Battleship 4 days before it premiered! The movie was much better than we had expected. It seems like when it came to the military aspect of the movie they did a bit of research and didn’t have the Navy using nothing but battleships and it seems they used real veterans in the movie as well. Overall it’s still a movie based on a board game so don’t go in with super high expectations that it will bring you to enlightenment or anything like that but it’s a fun movie to just sit back and enjoy. I can see us getting this on BluRay.
Since the screening was in Atlantic station we walked around and got some ice cream at Kilwins. I absolutely loved this store, it is just a fun candy store that smells so good and the ice cream is really tasty. Plus the service is great, I think Adam and I combined tried 8 different flavors before settling on our flavors.
We also ended up spending the night chatting with 2 people we met in line and saw again in Kilwins. It was a great evening, Thank q100 for the tickets!
