Living in Atlanta it is so much easier to see groups live in concert. When we found out about LMFAO coming to Atlanta a few friends and I got together to buy tickets. Unfortunately Mike and Erica ended up sitting at the wrong spot when we took photos but we found them later. My favorite part had to be the show closer and SkyBlu came out with an Elephant speedo. It was so much fun!

When I first heard about this I knew we had to go. Adam is a huge Zelda fan and we had already gotten pretty much every other Special Zelda items like the 3DS and Skyward Sword. We got lovely seats and the place was sold out! We decided to meet up with friends at Chin Chin for some yummy Chinese food for a pre-concert dinner. Then we made our way to the event at the Cobb Energy Center. The concert hall was decked out with beautiful golden tapestries with the triforce emblem. While the music played there were videos taken from the game to flow with the music. It was absolutely amazing. Afterwards we went with 2 of our friends for some Pinkberry, it was their first time and they loved it!

The punchline was having a free comedy night so we decided to stop by. The host was a young guy, kind of awkward. Overall he was just kind of funny. He had a couple of good jokes but overall he seemed awkward and didn’t have a good flow with his routine, I hope he gets better with more practice. Helen Keaney was the headliner and she was hilarious. We ended up having seats right up front and even joked around with Helen. Then at the end I ended up winning a $20 gift card too!
We took a trip to Ikea and of course you have to enjoy the set ups! We ended up getting the Expedit bookcase for displaying figures and storing Kawaii Fix materials. The extra shelves really helped with storing all the ribbons we have and we plan on buying more in the future! Although I think my favorite part of going to Ikea is the $1 frozen yogurt
I lucked out and was able to get two tickets to see the series premier of Game of Thrones, Season 2 here in Atlanta! Since Adam was scheduled to work that night my friend Amanda came and we had a girls night out! We enjoyed the show and then ate out afterwards. It was a great experience watching one of our favorite shows on the big screen!
The High Museum was having a special ‘Pay as you want’ day so we decided to take advantage. Unfortunately that doesn’t include parking but still it was great to finally visit this museum after living in Atlanta for so long. Along with there normal exhibit they had a Picasso to Warhol special exhibit. Most of which was from the MOMA which we saw on our honeymoon but they also had art we hadn’t seen as well. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time walking around looking at all kinds of different art!
Circus Arts was having a special introductory class and we couldn’t pass up. We were so surprised by what we were able to do within an hour! It was insanely fun and a great workout. How many people can say they have been on a Trapeze! We can’t wait to go back!!!
We celebrated my little brothers birthday and threw him a bowling party. Everyone had a blast and my brother had a wonderful party. The cake was absolutely delicious and was made by Publix and had a pineapple filling. We also had lots of pizza to eat for lunch too!
My little brother took part in an event to make homemade Valentines Day cards with our mom helping. They also practice singing for other events around town. This little lizard was enjoying being inside and watching the event as well.
We are lucky enough to get to enjoy the Special Olympics a few times each year. This year my brother’s event was bowling and he was able to get the 3rd highest score! Good thing the events were inside the weather was horrible. We also had a blast at the dance as well.
Bruno Mars came to the Fox here in Atlanta and Adam and I absolutely LOVE his music so we had to see it! My favorite part is that he actually sings LIVE. That should be obvious but with how a lot of artist are now days it’s becoming more and more rare. Both Janelle Monae and Bruno Mars are amazingly talented and we had a blast!
Adam and I took a day trip up to Helen for Oktoberfest in Helen Georgia. It was our first time visiting this town that has turned itself into German style town. Overall the town is very cute but the Bear/Wild life area made us sad because those poor bears didn’t have a good habitat to live in. The food was decent but it was hard to get into a restaurant because the town was so busy. We had a great time and it is absolutely beautiful in that part of the mountain!
Adam and I decided to live it up in NYC for our Honeymoon! We had the most amazing time and ate the most amazing food. We went to pretty much every single major art museum. We went to the Natural History museum. We went to the central park zoo. We did the central park row boats. We went to a bunch of famous stores like FAO and Tiffany’s. We FINALLY got to see the Lion King. It was amazing and I plan on making this a far more detailed blog post with lots more photos.
